I understand that you haven't always got time to stop and go closer, but why don't you zoom in and/or crop to make up for the fact that the matt is so small in the pic? What is the point of a pic that's about a mattress in which it's barely discernible? Don't forget that Adam actually deleted one of your pics recently after I and others said we couldn't see it. That was never my intention, and I was a bit shocked, but what does that say to you about what Adam thinks is the purpose of the site? |

Otherwise the site could be filled with pics that don't really show mattresses. The site *is* about decent pics of matts - that's why there are de Milos that everyone wants to get. |

Of course they're your pictures, and I'm not telling you to crop them, just asking why you don't. Don't you want to show people the mattresses? This site is about pics of matts, not general views of London (or anywhere) with blobs a few pixels wide that may or may not be mattresses. I think it's a discourtesy to the viewer to make them peer and scratch their heads trying to see the very thing that was the reason for taking the pic in the first place. |

You shouldn't have to put up a website to show the detail - it should be clear in the first place. Why don't you crop the pics? You aren't bothered, because *you* know there was a matt there when you took the pic, and I don't doubt you, it's just that it's not clear. This pic is OK because there's a tiny matt shape there, but the others, in shadow, or their outlines broken up by other stuff, are not. What is the point of submitting a pic that's meant to provide evidence of a matt, but which has no *clear* evidence? You might as well take a phot in the next street and say, "There was a mattress just around the corner". Because we've only got your word for it. |
