| robert k commented on 03.07.07 | | sometimes in Canada called bushguard or deerguard. often placed on trucks in rural locations (ranchers, farmers) where their are a lot of deer crossing the road, or trucks used in the timber industry or for hunting or off-roading. so if you hit a fallen tree or deer you won't necessarily crush the front end of the vehicle and wreck the radiator. also to prevent the deer from flying up into your windshield (speaking from experience). in Australia kangaroos crossing the road i think are a driving hazard. (note the big lights to illuminate the road far ahead) |
