I sometimes divide my time beetween California and the Seattle area. The mattresses are a different breed up there - wetter. I like it that way, although it makes it hard to take out the camera.

I am actually spending time in both Washington and California. I am looking forward to getting back to Fresno as it is a mattress-rich environment. I suppose that due to the quantity of rain here in Wa, mattress hunting is quite difficult.

Dead? Hardly. Spring brings new growth from decay including those trademarked yellow stains. Soon little mattresses will be sprouting from this dank slab.
