There seem to be over a dozen Galium species. I note that in the US, G. verum is called Yellow Spring Bedstraw (even better for mattressyness).
Sherardia arvensis = Field Madder, which is, as you say, in the bedstraw family, along with Goosegrass/Kleefkruid/Stickywilly (G. aparine) whose seeds are those little round green things that stick to your clothes. One of the most interesting things about wild flowers (weeds, wim) is all the history bound up in their common names.

G. verum is also Geel Walstro ("yellow rampart-straw").

Jaak, this is Galium verum. Odoratum is indeed white, but is known as Sweet Woodruff in English.
