| Second hand shopkeeper pulling down the awning to prevent discolouration. Nothing worse than faded red. If I were SS I might have been able to make more of the threatening clouds by tweaking the contrast but sadly I lack the technology. They were good though, those clouds. |

| robert k commented on 07.16.07 | | instead of manipulating the photo after the fact, try setting your camera onto manual and metering the sky before shooting the pic. point camera to the sky press the 'shutter' half way and then with your finger still half pressed on the shutter button reorient the lens to the scene you want to shoot. Then fully press the shutter. You'll find you can fiddle with the lightness and darkeness by shifting what in the scene you set your meter to. |
