| I was walking Maud in her Buggy last sunday, by the lane of lime-trees, when I saw this bundle of matts with a lot of children around (no camera at hand), returned but then the children were gone, but along came nostalgia. The place used to be the shop of the local blacksmith when I was a kid, and when I was in my late teens is was a "dancing" by the name "the horses neck". I used to be DJ in it for a while, before becoming in a DJ in Stokkem at Pier van de bar, a place by he name "the old barn". We even had Siska Vera and her band Shocking Blue live in it. As I recall same year as Desmond Dekker and some guy with a very deep voice, "you put a spell on me" and John Mayall and boy that was a long time ago, anyway, that is what is in the pictur, all but One undressed mattresses |
