Maybe it's just the smell of the mattress, but it brings a tear to my eye to see this picture. There we were, Noonan and I, walking down the street when suddenly out of the blue an odor struck us. Not just any odor, but one the good people at streetmattress.com are all too familiar with. It is the smell of lost dreams, of sleepless nights, and sometimes the smell of personal privacy invaded. I am grateful that I not only got to share the historic moment of capturing this rare breed of mattress on film with my friend Noonan, but that I, a humble man, was given the rare priviledge of taking the actual photograph.
