I got a hot tip on a sextuplet of mattresses so I grabbed the Polaroid and drove to the location. As I rounded the corner I saw the mattresses, and to my surprise the people that originally belong to the mattresses as well! I got out of the car and one of about 3-4 people stood up. I asked him if it was ok to snap a pic of his mattresses. He said “what?”. I repeated my self also mentioning that this pic was going to be on a website. At that point, a woman jumped up and laid on one of the mats. About 2 seconds later a man that was sitting on a car speaker cabinet proceeded to grab his seat and pose with it right behind the woman. Hardly able to contain myself I got the Polaroid positioned, stuck my hand in the frame, and captured their SOULS! As I walked away expressing my gratitude for their participation the man with the speaker seat tried to charge me $5.00 for taking his picture. Instead he’s getting something better, 15 minutes of streetmattress fame!

if they ask I let this picture 24 hours on my screen, a lot more than those 15 minutes you offered. But I recognise the situation. In France someone wanted to get paid only for telling me wher I could find a mattress. I refused, because I remember asking a guide in Iceland where to find a possibel streetmattres and after a long time of thinking she proudly announced : "ikea"
