A nice contrast. The street is called avenue of azalea and is about 150 parallel to what they call in Lanaken : the goldcoast. Average houses on the goldcoast cost above € 1.000.000; most owners are dutch. There also is a silvercoast, with prices starting at € 500.000. Most owners are poorer dutch. Here the owner is not dutch, it is no coast, people only hope someone comes along to buy their house, to pull it down, because the ground has more value than the old houses. While waiting, they don't overinvest in luxury, apart matrasses of course
