| I was so lucky here. I'd just arrived at the school gate to collect my offspring, when this Argos truck drew up. Could it be a mattress delivery, I wondered. Argos are a catalogue order company and sell pretty much everything, but it would probably have to be something big to be delivered. The door was opened and I heard a sliding sound from within, as of a mattress being moved, and then there they were - two bases and a shiny new mattress at the very start of their decline. |
