| DVD Dan commented on 06.17.05 | | Learn something new every day. Busted out my 200 page manual, my camera appends a date code to the sequential photo number. So I'm at 6600, that took several years though. ART you are one click-happy animal. |

| DVD Dan commented on 06.17.05 | | Duh, I should have figured that out. Mine goes sequentially but adds a one or two letter prefix which it seems to change on a random basis. I'm sure it has some reason to it, just never bothered to read up on it. Maybe every month it changes the prefix. |

| ART commented on 06.17.05 | | mine starts at pic00001 and keeps on counting until you throw out the files or format the card, I've saved 6000 pics this year (6months) on my pc, to give you an idea of my click-nervosity |
