Sheesh! Thrash-talking in metaphors is so ostentatious. What are we, writing in the Elizabethan era?

Yeahyeahyeh.. I noticed the missing e too SS, but I didn’t think it would stop the punch line (my "phone" being “mobile”) from getting through to you!? (Bad connection, huh? That’s though..) I thought about saying that I had a “cellular”, but that’s already a given, right? (It also has a built in long-range transmitter and deep-cycle lead acid-batteries, so if you still don’t get the joke, don’t worry, I'll phone you up and explain. Whisper succulent secrets in your ear..)

A bit harsh, ragnhild. I wasn't making fun of Frosken; merely playing with words. That it was inspired by something written by someone whose first language is not English is irrelevant. I'm very interested in other languages - see my comments on your pics as well as Frosken's.

Ah, nothing beats making fun of people who actually bother to learn other languages. The cool kids are those who just expect everybody else to speak THEIR mother tongue perfectly...

A Mobil phone? Hey, what a gas - I have a Shellphone!

wim: yes. there's sometimes a long line to the phone boths at roskilde. women who need to phone home usually dial with their backs away from the fence. i have a mobil phone myself.

the men on the right, are they phoning home? They are standing opposite the wind, it is not very good for the antenna ( or do you say aerial?)
