FM: "Lousy cops killed my pardner! Since then I've been a ticking timebomb!" Cop #3: "Ha ha. Ticking! That's good, Sarge." Cop #1: "I'm glad you think so, Kaplinski. This is a desperate mat we have here; there's no telling what he might do." Cop #2: "How did we get a lead on him, anyway?" Cop #1: "Remember Jack Pillo?" Cop #2: "The Pillo case? Sure, but what's the connection?"
Cop #1: "Pillo was teamed up with the mattress. The two of them were in Pillo's apartment when we raided it. The mattress did a bunk and gave us the slip, but Pillo went for his gun and we shot him dead before he could get it out of the bolster. If things had turned out different I'm sure we could have made Pillo talk, but it didn't matter because we found the mattress's name in Pillo's address book."

2nd Cop: "What's this guy wanted for anyway, Sarge?"
1st cop: "Making counterpane banknotes. We'll take him in this time - bed or alive." Cop: "Last time we jailed him he was sprung inside two weeks..." FM: "You betcha I'm sprung inside, cop!" To be continued...

Cop: "Either down or throw."
FM: "But it only fires blankets."
