| Whith X'mas i was on a mattress hunt vacation in Catalonia. It is extremely difficult to catch wild street mattresses in this mediteranian state. They are all kept in so to say "deixalleries" (pronounce: desh-all-ya-ree-es), kind of street mattress zoos. Protected by a fence they are shown in a context that imitates quite well their natural biotope, close to what looks like a real street. They rarely procreate in captivity, though they really proliferate: I passed a few days later at the same spot, and there was already another herd of mattress. Proliferation without procreation, that's the paradox specialists try to resolve. |
