| Wild Willy commented on 01.06.03 | | It looks like this mattress was hitchhiking across country or else was bicycling across country and got tired and wanted to get some rest. Just glad some truck didn't park on top of it like some other mattress got done to.
If a car or truck had hit while traveling at some speed, the mattress would have gotten caught in the frame of the car and drug for many yards along the roadway and could have suffered fatal wounds or even third degree burns from the friction with the road or contacting the hot exhaust pipe or cat converter on the car.
Too bad we shall never know if this mattress survived to crawl all the way over to the shoulder of the road. |
