This is the second streetmattress to feature prominently in the BBC's most recent "Doctor Who" series. There was one in the first episode, which psychobabble got (#7629) following a tip-off from me, then noel got it (#9472), but I'm keeping this one for myself. I saw it when it went out on TV but I've had to wait for the DVD. The mattress stars in a key scene where the TARDIS time machine (permanently disguised as a British police box) dematerialises (see its blue light glowing!), leaving the astonished onlookers with only the matt and an old chair. I think someone on the production side had a thing for mattresses, topping and tailing the series like this.
Bravo, BBC!

All filmed in Cardiff, I think. His parka is being blown by a mighty wind as the TARDIS departs.

Was any of the series filmed in W3? What's happening to his Parka?
