| the Crucible's 'Fire Arts Festival' wrapped up in the neighbourhood last Saturday. It is quite a show: Burning Man meets Survival Research Labs. It is held during the evenings in an abandoned lot next to the West Oakland BART station, a place where the odd matt has been dumped in the past. So i was hoping to get a matt with the festival in full swing, but no luck. As they began to dismantle the event this past they took down the coverings on the fence and lo and behold behind the stage...! There is a matt goddess after all |
