I think you are right, otherwise I would have mentioned it.

I think you didn't.

does this mean we did not have our R4 in those days?

That's awful cute. Looks like it was designed in California, too. I really like the remote heating and cooling idea, but too bad they decided to call it "G-Wiz." The thing is, though, it only goes 40 mph. That would never work for me.

Rebecca, check out this tiny electric car: www.goingreen.co.uk/index.html and look in car showroom. Small enough for ya?

we don't go to restaurants, we just go picknicking and eating from the street

Pliable chickens aside, what strikes me is how clean and neat the road looks.

Well done Art , that thing behind the R4 we call a pliable chickenhouse ,the Dutchman use them to go on holidays .

ART commented on 05.31.05
here you can look inside a R4

they have a gearboxstick in the middle on the dashboard (not in between the seats) and if you want to put in in reverse you have to pull that stick that far out of the dashboard that your backpassengers may have to move aside to let your arm pass the frontseats...it's hard to discribe but we hunters are smart enough to visiolize it

weel, you know we just like to drive Renault..this one is as old as the original Beetle, made by thousands and still driving in a lot of Southern European countries...this one is the R4, very rare but beauty in pure form
