This is obviously part of a new environmental installation
piece entitled 'Abandoned Dreams'. These two appreciative patrons are
considering the deeper contextual meaning of the work. Is it modern,
or post modern? OR is it post post modern?

This is my favourite street mattress photograph. His pensive look reflects the calm ambiance a mattress can bring whereas her surprised look makes me think the mattress had given her some great enlightenment. and she has funky shoes.

The juxtaplay between the refrigerator coil & mattress suggest an allegory of life's essentials- food and shelter (That's two big words in one sentence).

In my mind, this installation and its title perfectly sums up the essence of street mattresses.

It is a most excellent, post-conceptualist work. I do so appreciate your photos, and commentary!
